If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life. –Marc Anthony
A short time ago we received word that Advia was named one of West Michigan’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work for in 2017. We are excited to receive this honor for the second year running and humbled that our culture is one that is embraced and supported by our Advia team.
Our Core Values
We believe it is our four core values that anchor and propel us to present our best selves in our day-to-day interactions with our members, our community and each other.
- Acting with integrity
- Keeping people at the core
- Building and strengthening relationships
- Driving progress
But don’t take our word for it – listen to our team explain in their own words what drives their excitement here at Advia:
A Strong Spirit of Philanthropy
Equally important to our employees is our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve through sponsorships, donations, scholarships and volunteerism. In 2015 we introduced a new Advia ACTION Employee Volunteer Program in which we provide employees paid time away from work to volunteer with organizations and causes important to them.. We believe in supporting our staff who give back to our communities and who take ACTION – Advancing Community Ties In Our Neighborhoods!
Our staff has this to say:
“The opportunity to serve others and to give of myself and my time is as much of a blessing to me as I’m sure it is to those whom we serve.”
-Ashley Beck, a Digital Channel Administrator, volunteering with the Salvation Army Toy Town
“Working for a company that cares about the community where their employees live and work gives me a huge sense of pride. Also, volunteering with your coworkers gives you unity and builds relationships and memories with each other.”
-Karelyn DeBoer Meert, Accounting Specialist, volunteering with four organizations in 2016
